Welcome to Masseria Posticciola
The monumental harmony and grand history of the Apulian estate. Masseria Posticciola stands as an imposing outpost of culture, memory, and authentic hospitality in the vibrant heart of Puglia.
Unlike standard, spontaneously built rural complexes, our structure was founded in the early 19th century based on a scholarly, geometric, and rigorous architectural design. It was conceived as the central hub for managing vast agricultural estates and supervising the surrounding territory. Today, following a meticulous restoration process, this majestic monument in tuff and local stone reopens its doors, revealing itself as a gathering place dedicated exclusively to history enthusiasts, architecture lovers, and slow travelers walking the ancient routes of Europe.

HOSPITALITY: THE REFUGE OF THE SLOW TRAVELER
A resting place for the soul along the historic paths of Puglia.
Masseria Posticciola preserves the purest philosophy of hospitality, opening its restored spaces to those wishing to deepen their knowledge of this monumental architecture and to the walkers of the Via Francigena. We offer an authentic point of rest, refreshment, and sharing, where the essential nature of contemporary design respects and enhances the prestige of original 19th-century stone.

NATURE AND TERRITORY: A TIMELESS SETTING
Extraordinary visual backdrops, where light shapes the stone.
Stepping through the gates of Masseria Posticciola means entering a dimension of profound stillness, surrounded by ancient olive trees and dry-stone walls. It is the ideal stage where the solemnity of the past meets the slow pace of the modern wayfarer, fully immersed in the scents and colors of the Mediterranean scrub.

Masseria Posticciola has been returned to the community and restored to its former glory thanks to a faithful renovation project, co-funded by the European Union – NextGenerationEU.
